Meet the instructors

Louise Hamill

Louise Hamill is a professional artist and arts worker, having exhibited in Australia and Japan, she has also facilitated many creative workshops for art centres, libraries and city councils, as well as running her workshops from her own studio. Louise works across drawing, painting and sculpture mediums. Louise believes everyone is born with a creative talent that deserves to be expressed and enjoys cultivating an environment to support this.

Dion Hamill

Dion is a professional illustrator working since 1999. He has provided artwork for publishers such as Harper Collins, McGraw Hill and Scholastic Education. He has published 3 children's picture books; Amazeing Ruins, The Pegasus Quest and The 12 Tasks of Hercules. Dion has run many workshops for adults and children in head drawing, comic making and various mediums such as pencil, paint and ink markers. Helping others reach their creative goals has been one of the highlights of his career.

  • Does my child need to bring anything?

    No need. All materials are provided.

  • Can my child join the class after the term starts?

    Yes! Children can join the term at anytime. But they will still have to pay full price to join to pay for materials and other out of pocket costs.

  • Do parents have to be present?

    No. Parents do not need to stay for the class.
